Ausflug.blog was born from a section of a music magazine that was becoming less and less appropriate but nevertheless became increasingly popular. In the search for small and large tips for spending your free time, a considerable archive of articles was created. The motto was always that even small discoveries can be worth a trip. Places of power, castles, nature and history were always at the center of the "On the road" section at the time. Most of the time they were excursions that didn't cost much and were a gift from nature to our contemporaries.

The aim of ausflug.blog is to convey the stories behind the places, the myths and legends about the landscape or the excursion destination in order to emphasize the transcendence of the places of power and the blurring of truth and fantasy. The mysticism of the places should fascinate, stimulate thoughts and create a time out beyond the rational.

At this point, special thanks go to a person whose idea it was to bring small but beautiful places of power and insider tips from nature to an audience.

About me

I am an explorer - whether at work or in my free time. I leave it to others to do the same thing twice without getting better and to stop. I travel a lot, both privately and professionally, and enjoy the new challenges. I like to process experiences by documenting them and preferably making them available to the public. Despite a wonderful childhood, geographical exploration was denied to me for a long time. I didn't see the sea for the first time until I was 16. After that, the joy of travel took hold of me even more.

So it turned out that I have already worked in over 10 countries and, with two exceptions (Moldavia and Belarus), I have been to every country in Europe. But there is still so much to see - you will read and see here!

With that in mind: Enjoy reading.

Andre

PS: Oh yes: the photos - I enjoy capturing things. But before you complain about the annoying index finger in the picture or the lack of focus, note that most of the pictures were taken with the cell phone camera. And: my little one was almost always sitting on my shoulders.
