A new architectural gem has been built in the middle of the Hardwald between Glattbrugg, Wallisellen, Kloten, Bassersdorf and Dietlikon. The 40-meter-high tower is made entirely of wood from the Hardwald and has been accessible since July 2022.
209 wooden steps lead to the viewing platform at a height of 40 meters. This offers views of the Glarus Alps, the Hardwald, the Greifensee and the surrounding communities of Zurich, Opfikon, Rümlang, Regensberg, Kloten, Bassersdorf, Dietlikon, Wallisellen and Dübendorf.
Access
The tower is easily accessible from one of the parking lots at Hardwald in Dietlikon and is located in the municipality of Dietlikon.
