Bally Park surprises with its Aare landscape, the stilt houses and its English-style park. In the park you will discover ponds and canals in a natural landscape, with pagodas and grottos. The miniaturized stilt houses are a unique feature in the park in Europe.

Story

The origins of Bally Park date back to 1868. In the second half of the 19th century, the shoe manufacturer Carl Franz Bally had a park designed in the style of a landscape garden laid out next to his factory in Schönenwerd SO. The park took on its current form as part of the extensions in 1890 and 1920. Particularly worthy of mention are the historically accurate pile dwellings in the center of the park.
