Above Vitznau on the Alp-Märis is the most beautiful bench in Switzerland. Once you arrive at this jewel, the view over Lake Lucerne takes your breath away.
The Waldisbalm Cave
The Waldisbalm cave is located near Vitznau. Its length and depth are unknown. At the end of the cave there is said to be an iron gate. If you knock on it, you will be greeted by meerkats and other ghostly creatures, who may reveal some of the great treasures they have hidden in the cave. The cave runs through the entire Rigiberg as far as Arth.
Access
A hiking trail leads from Vitznau to the Alp. After just over an hour and a half, you will be rewarded with a fantastic view before you set off on the steep path back down the other side of the Rigianhöhe.
