The natural artery stretches for 17 kilometers through the Orbe Gorge. It leads down past the Le Day waterfall and crosses the Vallorbe viaduct. After just over four hours, you pass hydroelectric dams and through the village of Les Clées and reach the town of Orbe.

Since 1970, the fauna has been assured of peace thanks to the creation of a nature reserve. The flora is given space to develop. Pine forests, oregano and thyme, as well as juniper and orchids are not uncommon along the Orbe. If you are patient, you will find great egrets, chamois or even beavers and kingfishers along the river.

From Vallorbe along the Orbe there are numerous paths and sections that lead to Orbe.
