In the Bohlingen district of Singen, on the Galgenberg, there is a platform in the shape of a beech leaf where thieves were probably hanged in the past. A panoramic view over the entire lower part of Lake Constance and the island of Reichenau out to the volcanoes of the Hegau and Hohentwiel allows one's thoughts to wander into geology and history.

Access

On the road between Überlingen am Ried and Bohlingen there is a small road on the right that leads up a somewhat steeper hill. You can park your car halfway up there if you want, but you have to walk the rest of the way. The leaf shape is very well signposted, however.
