In the hidden depths of the Black Forest, the Allerheiligen Waterfalls rise majestically, a truly divine spectacle for the senses. Nestled in the majestic mountains of Schliffkopf, Hundskopf and Schwabenkopf, they plunge almost 90 metres down the steep rock faces over seven cascades, as if they were singing the melodies of nature itself. Like a hymn to beauty, the waters dance down the slope in a wild whirlpool, their song filling the gorges and bringing the soul to life.

In the summer sun, these natural beauties shine in all their glory and captivate visitors from near and far. The old walls of the monastery ruins, silent witnesses to times gone by, are in harmony with the untouched splendor of nature. Since 1840, this wonderful natural attraction has been accessible via a picturesque path that leads the adventurous over numerous stairs and bridges along the gorge and over the majestic water cascades. It is a journey through time and nature, a journey that touches the heart and inspires the spirit.

But the history of this magical oasis goes back a long way, to a time when the gorges were still untouched and mysterious. It was the commitment of men like the venerable forester Eichrodt and the brave forest ranger Mittenmaier who opened the gates to this natural wonder in 1840. With courage and determination they laid a path through the wilderness, overcoming cliffs and abysses to reveal the paradise of waterfalls to the world.

The Grand Ducal Court Chamber in Karlsruhe soon recognized the importance of this natural jewel and in 1842 granted generous funds to secure and expand the path. Stairs replaced the former ladders, and railings were erected to protect hikers from the dangers of the gorge. Thus, an adventurous path became a safe path that made the beauty of the All Saints Waterfalls accessible to everyone.
